Here is a lovely antique fine glass beaded figural purse depicting "The Butterfly Hunters," although some would argue that it looks like the ladies hold an oar and are off for an adventure on a canoe. Either way, there is also a glorious jeweled frame that in itself looks like a piece of jewelry. In addition, the frame has amethyst glass accents on the carry chain. This wonderful frame opens to a square. The silk lining is shredded but could easily be replaced. The body of the bag is in excellent original condition with no holes, stains or missing pieces. There are a few fringe missing on one side only as shown in the picture. This vintage handbag is good size measuring 8 x 12" including fringe. Colorful and beautiful.
